Industrial, Beach Shack Restaurant
This Caribbean inspired restaurant was started by the 2 sons of a popular mom and pop style restaurant owner in Buffalo NY. The brothers brought the delicious Jamaican flavors of Dr. Bird to Chicago with a new modern twist. This Jamaican beach shack needed to pay homage to the original Dr. Birds and introduce the new fusion the brothers bring to the plate. The restaurant features multiple seating areas for big or small crowds, bird house collage art made with a reclaimed graffiti wood fence, and a tin roofed patty shack. It highlights the shack look with furniture and finishes made from reclaimed pallets, 1950s flooring and walls cladded with wood from old fishing boats.
